Welcome!
Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first peek into it, Hebron UMC has something for you. Our Sunday worship service is at 10:30 a.m. and you can learn more about the content of our worship here.
Come As You Are
At Hebron UMC there is no dress code. You’ll see some people in suits or dresses and others in jeans and a t-shirt. Wear whatever makes you comfortable! People often arrive early, congregating for fellowship ahead of the 10:30 a.m. start time.
Bring the Kids!
Our congregation is kid friendly. We offer nurturing children’s Sunday School for kids ages 3-to-12 most Sundays during the school year from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Each worship service reserves time for children to receive a message from Pastor Char Hoffmann or a member of our Nurture Team. Parents are invited to accompany their children if that is more comfortable for them. This time is often just as meaningful for the rest of the congregation as it is for the kids.
Children also help lead worship as candle bearers and may serve as liturgist during opening moments of worship, sing as a children’s choir or play an instrument. Nursery care is provided.
Where do I go when I get there?
Enter the church through the main entrance. As you walk into the building, our host team will meet you and show you where we are worshiping, the restrooms, and where the children are in Sunday School.
How long is the service?
Services last about one hour. We offer a blended service of traditional and contemporary elements. Our pastor Char or a guest speaker delivers a message.
