Dancing with the Stars
Hebron United Methodist Church members and Harvard Community Senior Center members gathered on August 15th to celebrate both a shared commitment to our communities; and to creating a new multi- generational, multi-cultural, multi-dimensional “Movement and Music” partnership that will benefit older adults from both Harvard and Hebron. Along with Drinks and Desserts, the evening featured dance performances by the Someday Seniors (Evie, Isela, Riley, Tallulah), a Mother–Daughter Duet (Natalie & Naomi), the Sevillanas Flamenco (Stephanie), and the intergenerational 3-D Dancers. The event also included check presentations to the church’s roof project and to the Senior Center’s parking lot project and capital campaign donors to both organizations were recognized for their generous gifts.
A special thank you goes out to all who participated in the dance program, to those who provided food and supplies, and to everyone who attended the event. Thank you also to Joan Winter and Julie Gockman (www.juliegockmanphoto.com) for taking some great photos of the event! Thank you!
