Annual Conference Mission Challenge
The Mission Challenge this year at Conference is for Dignity Kits for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. Those of us in the Elgin District are requested to collect and bring the following to Annual conference:
- Deodorant (2 to 3 oz. size)
- Razors (with a guard)
These items may be found economically at your Dollar Tree or Dollar General stores. Bishop’s appeal this year at Conference will be a collection for the NIC Youth Camps. It is hoped to build new facilities as well as enhance the camping experience at our current locations in the Conference.
Unfortunately, due to work requirements, I will not be able to participate in the Annual Conference this year in Schaumburg as an Equalization Candidate for the Elgin District. If anyone would like to volunteer, please see me and I will be pleased to submit your name to our District Superintendent for consideration.
