Vacation Bible School 2019
We had a fantastic week at SHIPWRECKED VBS. Over 50 children attended and learned all about how “Jesus rescues!” We sang awesome songs, made our own sand dollars, played real-life battleship, and learned Morse code! We had 14 HUMC children participate this year and 3 HUMC volunteers. Pastor Jim also joined us for our Friday closing, leading us in prayer.
The kids raised $500 for our offering this year! These funds will be used for Alden-Hebron District 19 families who may need a little extra help purchasing school supplies. An average school supply list can cost between $50-$75! We will be working with the food pantry to distribute these items in August.
A very special thank you to Natalie and Stephanie who led Science Exploration and Games (respectively)! These two stations are favorites for our kids and VBS wouldn’t be as amazing without them! Thanks!
