Christmas Open House

Drop by Hebron UMC on December 15 anytime from noon to 3:00 p.m. for free food and fun to get you in the Christmas spirit.  “It’s our way of sharing with the community,” said David Dickey, co-witness chair at Hebron. “We’ll have a chili luncheon and a public viewing of many special Nativity Sets from around the world.”

Children activities include ornament making and the chance participate in a Star War’s inspired Christmas play.  About every 30 minutes during the event we’ll costume any children wanting to participate and our narrator will lead them through the story of Christmas (from the prospective of a galaxy far far away).

Visitors will also receive a CD of our latest Christmas album:  “A Hebron Christmas Portrait in Song and Memory” featuring the talents of our church musicians and choirs and Christmas stories from church members.

Listen to a sample from the CD:

“Angels We Have Heard on High”

“In the craziness of the season we invite you to take a breath, slow down for a bit and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season,”  Dickey said.
