Opportunities for Learning
The Laity Convocation, February 17, offers an opportunity to learn strategies on transforming ministry plans into action. Featured speaker is Rev. Dr. Junius Dotson, General Secretary of Discipleship Ministries. Choice of a session will be:
- How do we share our faith?
- How do we meet our neighbors?
- How do we use data to help our neighbors?
- How do we talk about the way forward?
- How do we “see all the people”?
This will be at Sycamore UMC. Registration starts at 7:45 AM, music at 8:45 AM, worship at 9:00 AM, Keynote Speaker at 9:15 AM, your choice of session at 11:00 AM, closing worship at 12:15. If you are interested, please talk to Kathy. She will be attending and will help you pre-register. Cost is $10.
